…52 weeks of shaking up the wardrobe…
The Rules:
-
Wear a different outfit every Sunday.
-
Incorporate at least one article of clothing or accessory that was either refashioned, sewn myself, or handmade.
-
Outfits can be worn more than once; just not the same way.
I guess, technically, I should call this “What I Wore Thursday.” With General Conference being last weekend, I didn’t go to Church. I watched and listened to Conference in my favorite jeans and tee shirt.
But…
I had a Church meeting on Thursday night, and this is what I wore:
This is a big, soft, comfy sweater I wore with a cotton skirt I made years ago. You can’t see so well from the picture, but it has a drawstring waistband and along the hem and a couple inches above I added some cute trim in the same color.
A HUGE THANK YOU to all of you who have been linking up all of your fun refashioned and handmade outfits and accessories. We just love partying with you! :)
Did you see last week’s party? Lots of fun stuff linked up.
Check out this adorable little rag tutu that was linked up from The Daily Me.
How adorable is that? And what a great way to use up some of those scraps from your stash. You could do this in Halloween colors for a witch! Oh, so so cute!
How about this denim skirt from The Thinking Closet.
Such a fun idea. You could do this in so many different fabrics. The style is classic, and that would go with just about anything. Love it!
These little pajamas from beauty4ashes are so so cute:
I just love the colors, and don’t they look comfy? So much fun.
What did you wear? What have you and your sewing machine been up to?!
Link up to anything you have refashioned or sewn yourself. It doesn’t have to be dressy, and it doesn’t have to be worn on a Sunday. It doesn’t even have to be worn by you. Show it off!

No links to shops or giveaways, please.

Link back to Crafty Cousins on your blog too, okay?!

Tell your friends about the What I Wore Sunday Link Party. What’s a party without lots of partiers?
Can’t wait to see what you’ve got!
Wow! Thanks for featuring my denim skirt tutorial. I agree, that it can be done with so many different fabrics. If only I didn't have so many other projects calling my name.... ;-) Great blog! Excited to kick off week's link up party. -Lauren
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for featuring my PJs! I had never attended a linky party before, being a new sewing blogger, so this feature was quite an honor for me!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting the party! I'm loving your Halloween costume ideas!
